                          New access rates at MV

As you've no doubt seen through our several newsgroup postings and
personal email announcements, effective September 1, 1995, access rates at
MV will be changing. We're unifying the rates for online, IP, and UUCP
accounts, and introducing several service levels for various degrees of
usage. Also, if you have an online or an IP account with us, you can
create your own personal home page on the Web.
New rates for dialup accounts are listed on the back of this
newsletter. Also for information about personal home pages (how to create
them, guidelines for their usage, etc.), see our the 'user info' section of
MV's web page (http://www.mv.com/mv/userinfo). Our home page
(http://www.mv.com) also contains information about other services offered
by MV, such as other web space offerings and high speed leased line connec-
tions.

                                 New Staff

Dave Chamberlain (davec@mv.mv.com) has joined MV to help out in a
number of areas. He takes over as Director of Internet Technologies, pro-
viding focus in helping clients with Internet access technology in a
variety of ways. Dave has broad experience in this field, having been an
Internet consultant for a number of years, during which time he has
assisted area businesses in getting connected to the Internet and in
developing their Internet presence.

Barrett Nuzum (hogarth@mv.mv.com) has been with us through the summer,
and has decided to stay on. Although he never did get a proper welcome
announcement (sorry!), he has been helping to provide customer solutions
and advice for the last couple of months. Barrett's specialties are HTML,
WWW, and online accounts, but he also has great prowess in other things
Internet.

                                New modems

Our two backordered shipments of modems finally came through, and we
have received over 50 new modems in the last month or so. Most of these
modems have been deployed, adding lines to all of our access locations, and
with the latest arrival we'll be making another round of additions where
needed. (Note, for those who have missed the announcements, all of our
dialin hunt lines have 28.8 bps modems.)

                             New Dover office

The move into our new Dover office was completed with only one real
glitch: NYNEX was unable to get the T1 circuit working in its new location
for a period of about 18 hours. So this circuit was down during the actual
office move, as expected, but also stayed down until about 9am the next
morning when they did get it up and running. Our new office gives us more
operating space, and we hope to hold an open house there, and will plan on
hosting meetings for some regional groups such as NNEUG and EFNH in the
coming months.

                            New Keene location
We're happy to announce that we'll be opening an access location in
the Keene area in mid-September. Our equipment will be hosted in an office
in Marlborough, and we'll have both Marlborough and Keene telephone
numbers.
